Opening Ceremony of the 54th Corrections Products Exhibition

Pol. Col. Tawee Sodsong, Minister of Justice (5th from left), together with Mr. Sahakarn Phetnarin, Director-General of the Department of Corrections (3rd from right), presided over the opening ceremony of the 54th Corrections Products Exhibition, organized by the Department of Corrections under the Ministry of Justice. Held under the concept “New Power, New Life: The Power of Opportunity and (Un)Confined Potential,” the event aims to showcase the mission of behavioral development, highlighting the capabilities of inmates and former offenders who have undergone personal transformation and are ready to reintegrate into society. The exhibition also encourages public participation in supporting individuals who have made mistakes in the past.

Visitors can explore a wide range of products crafted through vocational training programs from over 100 correctional institutions nationwide, including wooden furniture, clothing, handicrafts, paintings, Thai traditional massage, food, bakery items, coffee, organic agriculture products, and the “Corrections Tourism” initiative.

Highlight activities include a special concert by Sek Loso, traditional folk music, a western music band, Khon (Thai masked dance drama), interpretive dance, and a SOFT POWER fashion show titled "Corrections: Hope Beyond the Walls."

The exhibition will be held from July 16–20, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Halls 9–10, IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani.
